Redmi 9A: Xiaomi Redmi 9A to launch in India today at 12pm: How to watch the live stream

Xiaomi is set to launch the entry-level Redmi 9A smartphone in India today. The handset will be unveiled via an online event at 12pm. The smartphone is listed on Amazon India website, hinting at the phone’s availability on the e-commerce site along with the company’s official website.

Redmi 9A: Expected specs
Xiaomi has created a webpage of the upcoming phone on its website. Although it says that the phone will come with bigger display, better performance and camera feature, it does not reveal any feature of Redmi 9A. The page, however, says that the phone will go on sale on September 4.
Redmi 9A is said to be an entry-level phone that will be priced under Rs 10,000. It is already launched in Malaysia with a price tag of MYR 359 (Rs 6,500 approx.). There, the phone comes in a single variant- 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For Indian market, Xiaomi is expected to bring a 3GB RAM variant as well.
Nature Green, Sea Blue, and Midnight Black are the expected colour variant of Redmi 9A. The handset is said to be equipped with a 6.53-inch HD+ screen with 720×1,600 pixels waterdrop-style display and an aspect rati of 20:9.
It is likely to run on the company’s own MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box. As far as the camera is concerned, Redmi 9A may offer a 13MP single rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. It is said to be backed by 5,000mAh battery with 10watt fast charge.
